Keto: Cheesy Hot Sausage Balls

These sausage balls are one of the easiest things to make, takes no time to at all and just delicious. Perfect for keto meal prep, an easy grab and go breakfast or even an appetizer! And it's only 3.1g net carbs! If you don't like spicy then use breakfast sausage. This keto version is just as good if not better than the sausage balls made with bisquick.


Ingredients:
1 pound hot italian sausage 
1½ cups shredded cheese (I use mild or sharp cheddar)
1 TBSP baking powder
1 cup almond flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º F 
2. Line sheet pan with parchment paper or grease a sheet pan
3. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix until well combined, but not overmixed
4. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, roll into 1-2 inch balls. Depending on size makes 24-35 balls. 
5. Bake for 20 min. or until golden brown

Note: You can use a stand mixer with a dough hook to make it easier.
